Beautiful location in the tiny hamlet of Le Fieux: terrific,
well presented, food and exceptional value, with the lunchtime
plat du jour at 12€ for 3 courses including wine and
coffee! This restaurant is just 5 minutes drive from our cottages.
Note however that menu choice is limited.
Open every lunchtime except Saturday and Monday, and Thursday,
Friday and Saturday evenings. Reservation recommended at all
times.

Hôtel des Voyageurs - Ambazac
The chef here is a member of the "Toques Blanche du
Limousin" which guarantees that the menu will include
local dishes prepared from locally produced ingredients,
with a genuine feel for the region. We and our guests have
visited this restaurant frequently and the quality and choice
is superb - neither will it break the bank. There are a
range of menu's in different price ranges starting at around
15€ and, of course, a la carte. 20 minutes drive from
our cottages. Wise to book in high season.
